Would anyone miss me?

May 2:

Living a Life that Matters…

Philippians 1:7-8

‘It’s not at all fanciful for me to think this way about you. My prayers and hopes have deep roots in reality. You have, after all, stuck with me all the way from the time I was thrown in jail, put on trial, and came out of it in one piece. All along you have experienced with me the most generous help from God. He knows how much I love and miss you these days. Sometimes I think I feel as strongly about you as Christ does!’

My introspective personality often compels me to wonder about my life & the kind of impact I am having in the world around me. Am I investing my life in such a way that, should something ever happen to me, my life would leave a hole? Would my husband miss my encouragement? Would my children miss my laughter? Would my friends miss my loyalty? Would my church family miss my joy? Would my community miss my compassion? Would my coworkers miss my light?

We must remember that we are not alone one our life's journey... each choice we make impacts the world around us for the cause of Christ. We must focus on the choices set before us... place priority on things eternal... invest in things that matter... & love on people who will carry on the Gospel of Jesus long after we are called Home...
