I love to laugh… almost more than breathing.
While I do enjoy a delicate giggle now & then, I’m
particularly fond of the deep rumbling, eyes watering, nose snorting, pants
peeing, belly laugh. Yes people... I‘m deeply in love with ‘ugly’ laughter.
Like my memories from the pew, earlier this week, humor has
always been an underlying current in my life. My family of origin was full of
warmth & laughter & when Chuck & I got married we chose to build
our own little family around the joy & humor found in life. Not that things
are always easy or that we are always happy. It’s just that when we have tough
times, we look for the humor in it… more often than not, through tears… we find
ourselves laughing.
A joyful heart is good medicine,
But a broken spirit dries up the bones.
But a broken spirit dries up the bones.
-Proverbs 17:22
