"If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ,
if his love has made any difference in your life,
if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you,
if you have a heart, if you care— then do me a favor:
Agree with each other, love each other,
be deep-spirited friends.
Don’t push your way to the front; don’t
sweet-talk your way to the top.
Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead.
Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage.
Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand."
-Philippians 2:1-4 (the Message)
These two are our partners in crime.
Josh serves as Youth & Family minister here in Central Minnesota with us & his beautiful bride Bobbi is an intensive care nurse. They are new to married ministry life, as this fall, their whirlwind courtship culminated in one of the most delightful weddings we have ever been part of.
Josh or PJ, as we like to call him, began ministry with us right out of college & when he came on board, my husband & I committed to invest in him & vowed that we would always be a support & encouragement to him. It is our strongest desire not only to see him succeed in the ministry that God has called him to but to see him succeed in all areas of his life. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work along side them... to see first hand how God is using their lives, their youth & excitement, their passion for God & their love for each other, for the sake of the Gospel.
It's a beautiful thing.
